Looking for the best money making opportunity in 2010?

There are so many options out there to create a second income it can be difficult to decide which is the best one to invest in. In this issue we will examine the very popular Global Resorts Network.

It is true that multi-level marketing programs can make you a lot of money in a very short period of time. If they did not, they would not be as popular as they are. However, mention an MLM opportunity to most people and they will grab their checkbooks and run out of the room as fast as possible.

All multi-level programs have 2 basic elements:

The benefit or product side (make-up; vitamins; travel, etc.)

The money making opportunity site

20 years ago there was very little emphasis on #1 – the product and benefit side. I remember my parents went to a meeting when I was a kid and they paid $50 a piece for 2 red jackets. The red jackets were very cheaply made and had a logo on the back of them. The logo was of the company so when you wore the jacket you could call it “advertising”. It was their goal to sell these $2 jackets to someone else; take part of the sale and distribute the rest of the money to the different levels of the group above them.

The problem with these type of programs is the only people who made the money where the people at the top of the chain or pyramid. Actually think of a pyramid turned upside down. The money that came into to these type of scams only went to the guy at the top of the point.

Then in the 1990’s the Federal Trade Commission stepped in to stop these scams or “pyramid schemes”. They established a very easy litmus test in order to determine if a MLM program was legit or if it was an illegal pyramid scheme. The litmus test is this:

If it were not for the money-making opportunity, would any reasonable person join JUST for the product benefit?

You should also ask yourself this question anytime you are looking at any type of investment. Go back to the example above with my parents. Would any reasonable person spend $50 on a jacket that cost $2? No.

Now take the same question and apply it towards some well known legit MLM programs.

- Would any reasonable person join Mary Kay just to use their make up? Yes

- Would any reasonable person join Amway to use their products? Yes

Take this same question now and apply the Zig Zigler test. Zig is a true icon in the marketing industry who made his initial fortune selling pots and pans door-to-door. You read that correct. Pots and pans door-to-door!

He tells this fantastic story about a co-worker of his who was struggling to make his first sale and went to Zig for advice. Zig asked the co-worker what he thought of the pots and pans he was selling. The gentleman told Zig that he had never used the pots and pans because he could not afford them. Zig threw the guy out of his office and told him not to come back or even try and sell the pots and pans until he owned them. The gentlemen borrows some money, buys the pots and pans, uses them for himself and then precedes to also make a fortune selling pots and pans door to door.

That story is meant to illustrate one thing. If you do not believe in it – do not try and sell it. If you can not tell people your personal experience with the product you will never be successful. Think about the genius of Mary Kay. A beautiful woman walks into your office and her skin is perfect. You comment on her beauty and she tells you she uses Mary Kay and would you like to order some from her? The next thing that happens is you handing her a check and then you joining her team to sell on her team.

Too many people look at a moneymaking opportunity and just look at the money side of it. These people then wonder why they continue to fail. Would you buy a car you had no intention of driving? Would you book a vacation to somewhere you did not ever plan to go? People can sense both enthusiasm and the lack thereof as well. It is said that if you truly believe in something it will literally sell itself.

Friends and Family?

The next downside to multi-level marketing opportunities is the direction you receive to go “talk to all of your friends and family” about this amazing opportunity. I know of no quicker way to get banished from all family holiday functions!

Basically this is called the pity sale. Your mom would never turn you down right? The people that encourage you to do this are only doing this so you can get a quick sale from someone who feels sorry for you so they can make some money off you and get to the next victim. Do not be this person.

The better strategy for this is to not tell any of your friends and family about your new business adventure. Trust me, when they see you driving the new car and taking all of these fantastic vacations they will be begging you to tell them how they too can do it!

Global Resorts Network:

Global Resorts Network fits all of the criteria and more.

The benefit / product side is discount travel. It is a “members only program that allows its’ members to stay at various resorts around the world at a drastically reduced price. Members can experience discounts up to 80% on select hotels and villa’s in several countries.

Unlike other programs, the travel benefits are actually real. For people who travel and spend 7 days or more traveling can experience real savings. Global Resorts Network is a much better option than a typical time-share.

One if the many drawbacks to time shares is the expensive cost of property for what you get in return. Along with that you then will have lifetime, never-ending, always increasing annual dues. Whether or not you use your time-share you are responsible for these annual fees for the rest of your life. And finally the resale value on 95% of these time-share is miserable. When you want to sell the property you will invariably suffer a dramatic financial loss

As a member of Global Resorts Network you pay a one-time fee of $3,000. You will not ever pay any yearly dues, or any other type of ongoing annual fees. When you desire to stay at a Global Resorts Network property, you reserve your room(s) over the internet just like you would with any other hotel / condo / time-share stay.

Now that you understand the benefit product side of Global Resorts Network, you need to ask the FTC and Zig questions from above for yourself:

If it were not for the moneymaking opportunity, would any reasonable person join JUST for the product benefit? Yes! In fact many members of Global Resorts Network never try to sell any memberships.

Are you interested in travel and saving money on travel? Only you can answer that question for yourself.

- If the answer is Yes, continue to read.

- If the answer is No, then clearly Global Resorts Network is not for you and you would be doing yourself a disservice by investing in this opportunity.

If you answered yes to the above then you will want to know more about the income opportunity that comes with Global Resorts Network . The good news is there are no additional fees in order to be able to earn money with the Global Resorts Network. When you purchase your membership you will then earn $1,000 from everyone who joins the Global Resorts Network through you. You will also receive an additional $1,000 for each member that joins under them. It is through this leverage or multi-level pay plan that has allowed some members to make as much as $19,000 in the first two weeks of joining the Global Resorts Network.

Friends and Family?

As mentioned before, this is not the way to be successful. Only tell them about the opportunity to join you when they are begging you for the information. To quote a great line from the movie Boiler Room: Lets see what mom says when you are making her Lexus payment for her!

The power and reach of the Internet allows you to market Global Resorts Network like never before. I would love to go back in time to those guys selling $50 jackets and tell them how many people we can reach with the touch of a button.

So how does one go about promoting the Global Resorts Network? Global Resorts Network has teamed up with http://www.miraclecashplan.com to provide a totally turn key solution. When you sign up you actually receive an identical copy of the site with all of the marketing tools available for use. What is even more impressive is unlike other opportunities – the people at http://www.miraclecashplan.com will actually help fund your marketing and promotional efforts.

As you can see by the above, if you are interested on travel – the travel opportunity combined with the income opportunity makes joining the Global Resorts Network a very easy decision.
